Lana is retired from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.  While working she earned her Pilates Mat certification through Body Harmonics. After retirement she earned her Pilates Reformer certification.  As a life long learner she enjoys Pilates because of its many opportunities to learn and expand her knowledge of the human condition.

This knowledge is used to guide her clients through Pilates sessions with grace and purpose, leaving them feeling strong and supple with a feeling of accomplishment. Pilates is suitable for all ages and abilities no need to muscle through an exercise to feel the conditioning affects on the body, mind and spirit. She continues to learn through continuing education with Body Harmonics earning certificates in Breathing Mechanics and Protocols, The Ultimate Mat: Repertoire Plus, The Principles of Rehab Exercise for the Pilates Context, Pain 101, Neurophysiology 101.

After retiring Lana attended Algoma Universities' Visual Arts Program for three semesters. She is skilled in many artistic mediums. The latest creative adventure is digital art, gourd carving and burning and making musical instruments out of gourds. She has recently started playing the ukulele and taking singing lessons.  She is a Patient Family Advisor for the Sault Area Hospital, working to improve the Patient experience, by sitting on the Emergency Department Committee and the Community Geriatric Rehabilitation Committee. Other activities include Curling, camping, road trips in her Road trek, visiting her grandson.
